Privacy Policy

A. DATA COLLECTED AND PROCESSED

In accordance with the provisions of Article 5 of the European Regulation 2016/679, the collection and processing of site users’ data comply with the following principles:

Lawfulness, fairness, and transparency: data can only be collected and processed with the consent of the data owner.

Whenever personal data will be collected, the user will be informed that his data is being collected, and for what reasons his data is collected.

Limited purposes: the collection and processing of data are carried out to fulfill one or more objectives determined in these legal notices

Minimization of data collection and processing: only the data necessary for the proper execution of the objectives pursued by the site are collected

Reduced data retention time: data is kept for a limited period, of which the user is informed. If the duration of conservation cannot be communicated to the user,

Integrity and confidentiality of the collected and processed data: the data processing manager commits to guaranteeing the integrity and confidentiality of the collected data.

To be lawful, in accordance with the requirements of Article 6 of the European Regulation 2016/679, the collection and processing of personal data may only take place if they comply with at least one of the conditions listed below:

The user has expressly consented to the processing

The processing is necessary for the proper execution of a contract

The processing corresponds to a legal obligation

The processing is explained by a necessity related to the protection of the vital interests of the concerned person or another physical person

The processing can be explained by a necessity related to the execution of a mission of public interest or that falls under the exercise of public authority

The processing and collection of personal data are necessary for the legitimate interests and private purposes pursued by the data processing manager or by a third party

C. DATA PROCESSING MANAGER

The data processing manager is responsible for determining the purposes and the means used for the processing of personal data.

D. PERSONAL DATA OF MINORS

In accordance with the provisions of Article 8 of the European Regulation 2016/679 and the Data Protection Act, only minors aged 15 or over may consent to the processing of their personal data.

If the user is a minor under 15 years of age, the consent of a legal representative will be required so that personal data can be collected and processed.

E. USER RIGHTS AND PROCEDURES FOR IMPLEMENTING USER RIGHTS

In accordance with the regulation regarding the processing of personal data, the User has the rights listed below.

For the data processing manager to comply with his request, the user is required to provide his first and last name as well as his email address.

The data processing manager is required to respond to the User within a maximum of 30 (thirty) days.

a. Rights of Access, Rectification, and Erasure

The user has the right to access, update, modify, or request the deletion of their data.

b. Data Portability Rights

The User has the right to request the portability of their personal data held by the site to another site.

c. Rights to Restriction and Objection of Data Processing

The User has the right to request the restriction of or object to the processing of their data by the site, and the site must comply unless it can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights, and freedoms of the User.

d. Rights to Determine the Fate of Data After Death

The user is reminded that they can organize the fate of their collected and processed data in the event of their death, in accordance with Law No. 2016-1321 of 7 October 2016.

e. Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority

If the data controller decides not to comply with the User’s request, and the User wishes to contest this decision, they have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (National Commission on Informatics and Liberty, https://www.cnil.fr) or any competent judge.

f. Data Controller Obligations

The data controller commits to protecting the personal data collected, not to transmit it to third parties without informing the user, and to respect the purposes for which the data was collected.

The site has an SSL certificate to ensure that information and data transfers through the site are secure.

Moreover, the data controller commits to notifying the user in case of data rectification or deletion, unless this leads to disproportionate formalities, costs, or steps for them.

In the event that the integrity, confidentiality, or security of the User’s personal data is compromised, the data controller commits to informing the User by any means.

g. Cookies

The site may use “cookies” to process statistics and traffic information, facilitate navigation and improve the service for the user’s convenience. Consent of the user is required for the use of “cookies” that involve the saving and analysis of personal data.

This consent is considered valid for a maximum period of 13 (thirteen) months. After this period, the site will request the user’s permission again to save “cookies” on their hard drive.

User Opposition to the Use of “Cookies” by the Site

The User is informed that they can oppose the recording of these “cookies” by configuring their browser software.

If the user decides to disable the “cookies,” they may continue to navigate the site. However, any malfunction of the site caused by this manipulation cannot be considered the fault of the site’s publisher.
